Way of the Mind's Article: Marriage Compatibility Test - How Fit are You for Marriage?
While a marriage compatibility test is not necessarily going to ensure marital bliss, it can help you identify potential difficulties. Do you understand what marriage is all about? Are the following statements true or false when it comes to having a successful marriage?
1. Even if we get married within three months of meeting each other, we still have as many chances to have a long and happy married life.
2. It is better to wait until we are at least 21 to get married.
3. It is better to have many mutual friends of both sexes.
4. One of us doesn't want children, so we won't have any kids.
5. We are more likely to stay together if we have the same level of education.
6. If we are both active in our religion, it's a good sign.
7. It doesn't matter if our family and friends disapprove of our marriage!
8. We don't have any sexual fixations.
9. We have money problems, but love conquers all things!
10. We have broken off temporarily more than three times, but we are still together.

From Fool to Fish
In France, we call April 1st "Poisson d'Avril, " or "April Fish." French children often tape a picture of a fish on the back of their schoolmates, crying "Poisson d'avril" when the prank is discovered. I remember when we tied a paper fish to the back of our Grade 3 teacher. We found out this way she had no sense of humour!

Bear in Mind my Upcoming Events
Toastmasters International Speech Contest
Having won at the Club, Area and Division levels, I will now be competing at the District 86 Spring Conference. If you are interested in supporting me as I deliver my speech entitled Find the Fun, join me on April 17, 2010 between 2:45 pm and 4:30 pm at the Delta Meadowvale Resort and Conference Center in Mississauga, Ontario.
On Saturday, April 10, 2010, I will be giving 15-minute palmistry-based counselling sessions at the Mind Body Spirit Fest, with other readers, healers and therapists. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Angels on the Move, a team raising funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society Walk being held in Burlington on Sunday, April 18.
I am also available for private readings in my home in Oakville, Ontario.
By offering a visual snapshot of mental patterns, palmistry can be used to chart psychological progress as well as for self-discovery, relationship analysis, career orientation, mental healing, attitude or habit reforming, and much more.
