Memory Technique:
Test your Visual Memory

This memory technique, while being very simple, is quite effective. It consists of looking at a picture for a minute or two, hiding the picture and answering questions to test whether you remember the details you have seen.

This test will be easier if you are a visual learner (check here to see whether you are a visual, auditory or kinesthetic learner.) However, since most of the world around us is geared towards visual people, this technique is particularly useful to anyone.

Please read all the following instructions before clicking anywhere!

1. By clicking here, you will open a page displaying a picture.

2. Spend a minute or two looking at it, analyzing it, trying to memorize as many details as you can. Don't take any notes!

3. Then come back to this page by clicking the proper link or using the previous page button on your browser.

4. Afterwards, click here to display a series of 20 questions about the picture you have just looked at. Try to answer as many questions as you can.

5. If you don’t answer all the questions, go back to the picture and check again.

The purpose of this test is not to rate your abilities. It is meant to give you an idea on how you can improve your visual memory.

From now on, you can practice this technique with any picture, location, event, person, etc. you need to share with someone of remember for yourself. Trust me, we always need it!

Good luck!
