When she is not teaching belly dance on a cruise ship, recording hypnotherapy sessions to help people "change their mind", entertaining audiences with humorous or educational speeches, providing palmistry-based counselling, or translating technical documents in French, Frédérique Herel writes articles for the Way of the Mind.

Her insights come from academic studies, personal experience, stories shared by the many people she has encountered, as well as careful and methodical research.

Born in France, Frédérique has lived in Canada since 1980. Over the years, she has provided counselling to hundreds of individuals looking for personal and relationship guidance.

She has also developed and conducted many self-improvement seminars in the Toronto area and on Celebrity, Royal Caribbean and Princess cruise ships. Furthermore, she has given English and French interviews to a number of Canadian television and radio stations.

As a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Certified Stage Hypnotist, Frédérique is a member of the Association of Ethical and Professional Hypnotherapists, the Professional Board of Hypnotherapy Inc. and the American Institute of Hypnotherapy.
