What's on Your Mind? Your questions
At the Back of My Mind - Next month's newsletter

I started taking a course on Intuition Development because, apparently, we can all become more intuitive with practice. I am discovering some psychic abilities I didn't know I had!
Beware... Soon I will be able to know exactly what you are thinking out there when you read my words!
This month, you can find out how you see the world and gain mental clarity, as well as play with wine and barrels.
As always, don't hesitate to drop me a line about this newsletter or the previous ones. Back issues can be found here.

Way of the Mind's Article: Auditory. Visual. Kinesthetic. What are you?
Think of an enjoyable place you visited a while ago. What is the first thing that comes to your mind? The way it looked, the different sounds you heard, or the feeling you had being there? This is one of the questions that can help you determine whether you are more visual, auditory, or kinesthetic.
We don't all perceive the world in the same fashion. Actually, about 40 percent of the population is more sensitive to sight (visual), 30 to 40 percent reacts more to feeling (kinesthetic), and 20 to 30 percent is more receptive to sound (auditory).
Knowing your own type can, for instance, help you make better use of your memory. I once spent hours taping myself reading history lessons and listening to the tapes in order to memorize them. However, being essentially visual, hearing words on tape didn't do the trick. It took a lot of effort and produced very little results. For me, it wasn't an efficient way to retain knowledge. Later on, I decided to organize my art history notes into large charts with different colors. During the test, I just had to close my eyes, visualize the colors and basically read the notes from memory. It was so easy it felt like cheating!
Read the rest of this article, and take the test!

Mind Boggling
Albert Einstein's brain weighed 1,230 grams (2.71 lbs), significantly less then the human average of 1,300 g to 1,400 g (3 lbs).
Morality: it's not the size that count!

Mind Games
The owner of a winery recently passed away. In his will, he left to his three sons 21 barrels (seven are filled with wine, seven are half full, and seven are empty). However, the wine and barrels must be split so that each son has the same number of full barrels, half-full barrels, and empty barrels. Note that there are no measuring devices handy.
How can the barrels and wine be evenly divided?

You will find the solution in the next issue of "With You in Mind" but you still have one month to think about it!

Solution of last newsletter's Mind Game:
There are 4 boys and 3 girls.

M.K. and S.M. were the first ones to reply, but both had wrong answers. Sorry!
Nick D. (first) and Ian F. (second) got the right answers. Congratulations Nick and Ian!

Universal Energy Training
The Mankind Enlightenment Love Organization, or MEL, was established in 1989 by Master Luong Minh Dang from Asia. The Organization's purpose is to serve Mankind through the use of Universal Energy Healing in all aspects of a person's emotional, mental, physical and spiritual states of being and in other areas such as agriculture and the environment.
Universal Energy Healing is a field of traditional medicine, as a Faculty of Human and Universal Energy Healing with The Open International University for Complementary Medicines (Colombo, Sri Lanka). Belly Dance Classes
Holiday Party (formerly Christmas Party)
Imagine... You have just finished your turkey dinner and your DJ starts playing dancing music. Most party guests need to move and would like to dance, but they are feeling self-conscious and believe they need a few more drinks to drown their inhibitions. Many are ready to leave...
At this moment, a dynamic, entertaining and persuasive dance instructor takes the microphone and joyfully entices everyone to give belly dance a try. A few ladies join her on the dance floor, followed by a lot more ladies and even... a few gentlemen. Encouraged by the relaxed atmosphere, the simplified dance steps and the irresistible music, they all dance, laugh, perform, cheer and applaud. All attendees, dancers and spectators alike, have an unforgettable time!
Afterward, they will be more willing to continue dancing, chatting and rejoicing together. And they will talk about this party for many years to come!
It could be Your Next Holiday Party! To find out more, just reply to this email.
